About Us
Turett Collaborative Architects (TCA) is a multi-disciplinary practice founded in 1984 by Wayne Turett. Turett's design vision and commitment to innovation define his work and provide the creative leadership at TCA.
Turett's extensive involvement in accessory, fixture and display design, and the expertise in brand identity achieved through years of retail design are directly reflected in the firm's work with commercial, technical and office clients. From custom workstations and light fixtures to space planning for maximized productivity, TCA approaches commercial projects with the same degree of playful inventiveness and efficiency as their residential and retail designs.
The scope of our commercial work ranges from factories with adjoining showrooms, to high-energy think-tank environments, to multi-floor-white-collar offices. In call cases, TCA emphasizes brand identity and user-friendliness, from the effective flow of work and information to the careful design and specification of lighting fixtures and office furnishings.
Turett and TCA have been honored for exceptional work in a variety of disciplines, and have recieved Best Office Design Awards from Interior Design and IDSA and the City Art Commission Award for Excellence in Design. In addition, the firm has won numerous awards including the Interiors Best Office Design and Best Restaurant Design, the Interior Design Award from Restaurants & Institutions Magazine and was nominee for Outstanding Restaurant Design from the James Beard foundation, and the Best of Year merit award for Residential Design from Interior Design Magazine.
