ABOUT US
Studio Murmur is a design and product development office located in Chicago, Illinois.
Founded in 2009, the studio is focused on products and experiences for the home, workplace, public and learning spaces. Our human-centered design approach works to deeply understand not only user need but how our clients seek to grow and adapt with their customers in a dynamic and constantly evolving landscape.
Our services include design research and exploration, brand strategy, prototyping, design and product development. Our success is measured by outcomes in furniture, consumer products, workplace systems, learning spaces, renewable energy, and public design.
MAKOKOMO
In 2020, we launched the design brand MAKOKOMO as a platform to explore the production, distribution, and scale of things within rapidly changing environmental, economic and social contexts. We bring our experience in design and manufacturing directly to users with products for everyday living, working, and being.
