As the EV market continues its inexorable global growth, ChargePoint set out to adapt their industry-leading EV charging stations for the European market. Spanner redesigned two ChargePoint systems to comply with European building safety codes and vehicle standards, leveraging proven electronics from the North American market. For one system, design adaptations responded to building codes governing public installation of charging stations, requiring rethinking of everything from anchoring to walls or pavement, to managing a much heavier charging cable. The other system was reconceived to accommodate the European vehicle connector when stowed safely at the charging station. We are always proud to support companies with wide, positive global impact!
