About Us
Sessile is an industrial design and engineering house based in Cornwall, UK, offering consultancy services to international businesses in Consumer, Industrial, Medical and Clean Tech markets.
We incorporate both technical research and cultural insight as part of an iterative design process, quickly exploring hundreds of ideas and solutions through constant prototyping. The physical verification of design intent is critical, aiding the accurate co-development of meaningful forms and purposeful functionality, which creates products with strong rational and compelling design stories. For us, design and engineering are one and we apply a broad experience and deep knowledge of manufacturing process and economic theory across our process.
Sessile was founded in 2015 by Lewis Tattersall and Robert Dooley.
