Think Green!
ROAR Design & Events has formed our own event tailored to raise awareness for local and global environment and sustainability issues. The Think Green-World Music Festival will have it's second annual event on August 2, 2008, in the Napa Valley. It’s an educational entertainment event showcasing exciting world music from flamenco to reggae, alongside workshops and exhibits that educate about sustainability in the environment and provide green alternatives for some of our daily activities. We have a non-profit benefactor, Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity, and strive to make the event as close to zero waste as possible. Last year's fest had an extremely high 94% divergence rate. That means that 94% of the festival's waste was diverted from landfill, one of the highest for a Napa event.
