About Us
RWD's philosophy is that no project is too big or too small - a belief that is evidenced by our many years of success working with organizations as expansive as the Library of Congress on to the smallest of heritage sites. Our creative process is one of inclusiveness, immersion, and inspiration.
Riggs Ward Design is an award-winning development and design firm located in Richmond, Virginia. Our team of talented associates provides exhibition and graphic design, strategic master planning, research, content analysis, and storyline development for established, new, and emerging museums, visitor centers, and similar cultural institutions. Our unique range of services, combined with our staff of established and well-respected professionals, provides each institution with a single source for all of its design needs.
RWD was founded in 1997 by its two Principals, Robert Riggs and Brent Ward. Since that time, our firm has become nationally recognized for its work with organizations such as the National Library of Medicine, the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Institution, and the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. RWD firmly believes that our success stems from maintaining long-term, repeat client relationships: a core belief that is embraced by each member of our team.
