This innovative, patent pending product provides a needed solution to a global problem as 9.6 billion single serve coffee cups are generated each year. That's 2.6 billion cubic feet of space from K-cups.
StudioMoya developed this unique product for Medelco which recently launched in US retail stores. Our consumer research captured insights from casual and serious coffee drinkers which help us to design and engineer this unique product solution.
Our work included industrial design, mechanical engineering and manufacturing support services; we worked closely with our client and their OEM vendor from T1 through T4 samples and provided on-going design engineering direction.
We also created the structural and graphic packaging design including a consumer facing user manual that provided useful re-use and recycling tips.
