The readassist helps people with reading difficulties to become more confident readers. The unique curved sliding frame of the six inch ruler can be adjusted to the appropriate line text height. All components have been specifically designed and developed to provide an inconspicuous solution to aid children with reading difficulties and to help focus the reader on each specific line. Each readassist comes with four coloured acetates to choose from. These are the primary colours most commonly used by people with dyslexia, which eliminates the effects of glare on the page.
The readassist has gone on to huge success. The design was awarded the 2011 ‘IDI Grand Prix Award’ which is the most prestigious design award in Ireland.
