Panatea is a NYC based health and lifestyle driven matcha tea company. Their matcha is used by some of the top local restaurants and bakeries including Fika, Momofuku Ho, Honeyhaus and Rose Bakery.
They came to Prime Studio to ask us to redesign their signature product - a matcha tea starter kit which contains a 30g tin of ceremonial grade matcha tea, a bamboo whisk, custom calibrated scoop and a double walled glass bowl along with a "How to" booklet.
The brief called for a package design which was cheaper, easier to assemble than their initial offering and which presented the set to the consumer in a stylized manner. In addition we also redesigned their signature double-walled glass drinking bowl for an optimized whisking experience.
All of these objectives were achieved with a design which utilizes a recycled kraft board sleeve and a beautifully arranged custom white tray which reveals the brands tagline "SIP UP & ZEN OUT" as the contents are unveiled.
