The Challenge
Our challenge was to create a unique electric scooter design that fit between the vespa and most electric scooters out there. More durable and with longer commute range, but not large enough for sitting.
The Solution
Through rethinking what the electric scooter could look like, we create a unique design including a hub-less wheel. In addition to being unique, it creates a great locking point for the scooter when you aren’t using it, such as bike lock areas.
The Results
This electric scooter concept, named the Evo-Hub, was completed in about 4 weeks. The final pieces were renders for presentation, along with a few conceptual sketches we made during early ideation. The result is a unique and interesting form with capacity of 4 times a standard scooter, without being so large or heavy it could not be pushed if needed.
