Set in the heart of London’s newest cultural and creative quarter, Kings Cross, the client wanted their new office and laboratory space to compliment the light industrial base build design whilst celebrating the scientific, cutting-edge nature of their business.
The design is ‘people centric’, supporting the health and wellbeing of personnel with flexible work spaces providing a balance of energetic and contemplative zones. Social areas have been made to feel like visiting ‘your favourite restaurant’ where colleagues can meet and share information.
Exposed services and concrete ceilings are complimented by standalone artwork and pops of branding colours with natural elements such as wood and planting used to give a softer feel. Laboratory spaces take advantage of natural daylight and offer the users clean, durable facilities equipped with the latest technology to support their needs.
