RealNetworks is known for digital entertainment - from music, to desktop video, to games. Real contacted Method to collaborate in a new endeavor aimed at making digital content truly portable, through a networked, portable video player with an easy-to-use touch screen interface.
Method's challenge: design a trend-setting user experience for this networked, portable, touchscreen video player. In collaboration with industrial design, software, and hardware teams, Method developed and tested 4 interaction models, and identified and explored 3 alternate scenarios of use. The selected concept was one that meets the needs of an entire family, easily.
