Industrial design and product development. Undertake the entire process of product development, including understanding the client's vision, budget, and other parameters; shaping ideas and concepts, producing concept sketches, mockups, and full CAD drawings and product documentation; undertake market research, including focus groups; coordinate budget and project management; review and/or secure patents in conjunction with legal counsel; collaborate with engineers and other specialized professionals; ensure regulatory compliance such as UL, EPA, OSHA, and ADA standards; provide complete design for a manufactured market; source parts and manufacturing both domestically and abroad; oversee both prototype and final production and assembly.
