This 1700 square feet Show flat Gallery located at the prime location in Central acts as the stage and show piece for the project of Artisan House by New World Development. Upon exiting the lift at the arrival area, visitors are directly drawn to the video gallery framed by the vibrant asymmetrical, cascading ceiling features which in coherence with the unique architectural design of Artisan House.
Further into the Sales Gallery, 3 Art Zones have been placed and divided to allow the placement of the Art Works; set against backdrops of a green feature wall and of a gallery setting; the last space that greets the visitors is the sales gallery, with its airy and bright atmosphere accentuated by the high ceilings and the light tone, this space features a series of custom designed fix furnishings, and a display case that can be shifted horizontally to display various pieces of “Artisanal” works.
The design of the Show Flat Gallery is inspired by the ideology of “Artisanal Movement” and the neighborhood of Brooklyn which have a lot in common where Artisan House located in Sai Ying Pun. Visual Cues, colour accents, relation- ship with the “sky-garden” were carefully incorporated into the design. Architectural language of using shifted spatial divisions, cascading spatial proportions, materiality, lighting atmosphere were also re-interpreted from the various design elements of the Artisan House. The concept of Art and Living were also further infused by allocating sufficient opportunities for the showcasing of the respective Artworks.
