Initially inspired by George Nelson famous slat, Georgie makes use of the particular construction of the eco-friendly bamboo boards to make a curvilinear form that emphasizes bamboo's straight grain. The bamboo boards have been sawn and re-glued with cavities left empty to reduce construction waste to the bare minimum.
