About Us
In 2003 Peter Baker founded the design studio Elevated Works, under the blue line elevated train in Chicago, Illinois. After a year, it was moved to Berkeley, California, and has since moved again, to Ann Arbor, Michigan. As both designer and developer, Pete is especially interested in projects with both visual and technical challenges, and his photography experience brings an extra layer of capability. His designs encompass a wide range of solutions from simple postcards and print collateral to brand identities and websites: including blogs, ecommerce and database-driven content management systems. Pete is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Art & Design. His work has been featured in publications such as How, Step-By-Step, Buffalo Magazine, Metropolis, ReadyMade and XLR8R.
