Kidu is the laboratory of ideas founded by Fernando Palma Franjul, Industrial designer, qualified with a Master in Design. He has achieved international experience and recognition in spatial, interior, product, transport and graphic design.
The spectrum of Kidu’s work includes the design and development of products, furniture, transport, and the manufacture of retail materials. The company prides itselfs on its extensive experience in exhibition design, special events stands and ephemeral architecture.
Kidu commits itself to produce creative, innovative and captivating design responses. Its individual work process is meticulous and begins with the conceptual design, followed by the detailed production of unique pieces or batch production according to the project specification.
"Kidu", derives from mapudungun, the native language of Chile meaning identity; the intricate make up of every individual, oneself, itself. This is the basis with which we aim to represent each of our clients and their projects, applying a sophisticted design style, made in Chile, for Chile and for the rest of the world. We like to identify ourselves as creators with a unique vision and focus. Our identity is founded in our country, as creators from the end of the world.
