Fifth Column (FC) is architecture, interior design and furniture
design consulting firm based in Vadodara, India.
‘Fifth Column’ as the phrase taken from the early Spanish civil
war suggests, the company was seen as a joint collaboration of
people with different design background with a vision to defy the
atrocious state of present architectural and design industry with
a more sensitive and meaningful response. Our efforts and skills
as a team of designers are tempered with our determination to
sincerely deliver a quality services in the given state of affairs.
Our approach has been very strong regarding the environmental
issues and idea of being self-sustainable. Our working method
aims to address a particular character and the potential of the
specific situation, embracing into the project while fulfilling the
requirements of the program. We work highly on the participatory
levels with the clients, engineers and the specialist consultants,
making each of them contribute from the beginning of the project
throughout the design process.
Since its formation FC has successfully undertaken several
architectural and interior projects in several cities of Gujarat and
India. From small and medium size projects the company has
initiated its venture into many high end projects; few of them
include, educational institutions, high end commercial buildings,
Eco-resorts, housing schemes and high end interior design and
furniture design projects.

some of the most reputed design magazines and design sources.
