From the discovery of the idea to the launch of the product, Design Axis has the insight and creative experience to develop a strategy and follow through with a clear vision.
Design Axis was honored with an IDEA Gold Award and a "Best of What's New" from Popular Science, for the innovative design of the Speedray Swimming Kickboard, the only sporting goods product to ever win both awards.
For the past 22 years, Design Axis has been working closely with classic American brands such as Speedo, Schwinn, Wham-O, Stanley/Black and Decker and Char-Broil. Our playing field encompasses the complete product life cycle, starting with the discovery of the desired the user experience through the implementation the distribution channel strategy.
In 1995, Design Axis launched a sporting goods manufacturing company called Zura Sports. In 2008 Zura was acquired by Aqua Lung America and we have continued our development of proprietary products for the sporting goods market.
