With 125 years manufacturing carpet sweepers that were once a much-loved favourite in practically every British home, Ewbank have rejuvenated their range and now offer a diverse product portfolio.
Ewbank's first manual sweeper was introduced in 1889 and has remained in service in various guises to this day.
It is one of those rare products (along with Hoover and Dyson) who's very name has become a generic term.
Following acquisition by Earlex, Dekode were asked to redesign Ewbank's iconic carpet sweeper that had once been a feature in practically every British home.
The brief was to bring some contemporary styling and improved ergonomics to a product that had remained unchanged for several decades and was viewed by Ewbank's new management team as a missed opportunity.
