Datum3D is a one-stop shop product development company located in the Greater Boston Area. Founded in 1997 by Gordon Lewis, Steve Venditti, and George Reekie, Datum3D’s portfolio spans across a wide variety of industries and consists of several unique products. The mission of the firm is to develop products using a unique blend of creative thinking and advanced computer-aided techniques that provide clients with rapid design implementation, superior quality, and reduced cost. With an innovative product development process, engineers at Datum3D can make real-time design adjustments with our in-house fabrication equipment (CNC Machines, 3D Printers, Laser Cutters etc) for a more economical production cycle.
Today, Datum3D is 15+ creative and hands-on engineers with talents spanning across industrial design and mechanical engineering to computer-aided analysis and functional prototyping. All of Datum3D’s engineers are focused on the project at hand; our nimble size allows us to act as an extension of our clients engineering department. We take pride in our work and care as much about the success of each project as our clients do. This collaborative environment between us and our clients creates a synergy that ultimately allows us to quickly and efficiently develop extremely high quality products.
