Greenaid began in 2010 as a local initiative to make Guerilla Gardening efforts more accessible to the general public through the tactical distribution of "seed bombs". COMMONstudio brought Greenaid from from concept to a thriving Social Enterprise with national presence within two years. COMMONstudio's role in this effort was multi-pronged, and included issues of business development, social enterprise strategy and non-profit partnerships, package design, user experience, and manufacturing. This initiative continues to grow throughout the U.S. and abroad with the mission of making cities more verdant, and livable places.
