The average home has so many small leaks, they add up to a two-foot hole in the wall. The leaks can account for as much as a third of home energy loss. The Black & Decker Thermal Leak Detector is a novel tool that uses a color-coded light to help homeowners find the leaks around their house that need to be sealed or insulated. The detector is an effective, simple to use device that enables DIYers to affordably identify energy-saving opportunities.
