Groupon (a portmanteau derived from "group coupon") is a deal-of-the-day website that features discounted gift certificates usable at local or national companies.
It started as an online shop where customers purchase products and service online with discounts and afterward redeem with Groupon’s coupon at different stores. For the convenience of customers, Groupon has opened their 1st Concept Store in Hong Kong to allow a one-stop purchase and redeeming Groupon products and no longer need to visit several stores for multiple purchases. The Concept Store also provides a new shopping experience - online purchasing with the Terminals - iPad & iMac, print coupons and redeem in the store.
HEAD Architecture has designed a welcoming space for Groupon Concept Store with glass wall and long benches to rest on while they are waiting for their products. Groupon logo has been used as the featured ceiling light in the shop. The brand is enhanced further by using the different shades of Groupon corporate color in the whole shop.
