Sometimes, the simplest answer creates the most useful design.
Cutlery for those with shaky hands (cerebral palsy, essential tremor, Parkinson's, etc) have up until this point been designed from an engineering perspective with counter balancing mechanisms and charging a small fortune.
Apart from cost, they tend to look hideous and impractical to take out due to unwanted attention and size. We decided to focus on making a spoon; useful, beautiful and simple. Over the course of a year we ended up with this design that has been helping so many eat independently and winning design awards for its simplicity.
