Evolution Management came to us with a challenge to develop a uniquely branded line of toys based on one articulating unit. Our objective was clear: impart the addictive play pattern of the original "link" chains into complex toys that have 20+ unique parts. To differentiate these new entry market toys it was necessary to do more than simply apply the original unit to existing toy formats. The success of the original toy chains identified a unique play pattern that needed to be maintained. The vehicles have a rigid structure to roll along with articulation that enables "crash & recover" play. We introduced a smaller scale link unit for product details and also to provide many possibilities for toy line expansion.
