Shopping trolley collection with high functionality and contemporary look. The project is based on a system with shared components between the models that optimizes production costs, storage and logistics, with parts that have been designed to reduce the overall dimension of the packed product for transport. The trolleys structure, designed using steel for main frame portions is very resistant, but have been studied solutions for lightening the plastic parts with a reduction in thickness in specific areas for a lower impact on the environment. A formula that has made it possible to combine good design, quality and functionality in a range of robust low-cost trolleys. The shopping trolley collection has been designed by CASINISTUDIO with GIMI’s R&D and Marketing Teams. Each model has different characteristics to meet specific user needs. The trolley frame architecture is common to the models in many of its parts, and generates an identity to the range and adapts to accomodate different types of wheels and complementary accessories that articulate the functionality of the trolleys and their costs. The “easy-click” system allows the quick detachment of the bag from the trolley. On the rear side, the frame has two special plates, each of which acts as a double hook allowing to hang the shopping trolley to the supermarket trolley, as well as offering a support to hook small bags on the back of the handle.
