As a jobsite radio and power tool charging station, the Power Box 360 resides in tough environments full of sawdust and sparks. In construction sites and workshops, the radio would have to survive debris, moisture, and potential accidents.
The light-weight aluminum and rubber roll cage flexibly absorbs shock if the unit is dropped, and sealed part lines keep the internals in working order. An enclosed media bay protects electronics like phones and thumb drives while they charge and play music.
