Studio RED is a Product Development company composed of passionate designers, innovative engineers, talented/hands-on model makers, and savvy business professionals driven by a common goal of supporting our clients in the creation and delivery of market leading products. We study the world, test theory, challenge status quo, identify need, and constantly seek the “better way.” In a nutshell, our signature approach… Rational Emotional Design (RED)…threads our passion and rational approach throughout each phase of the development process, integrating design, engineering and manufacturing disciplines into a harmonious whole. This approach results in exciting and compelling products that work.
While great Industrial Design is clearly our passion, we believe that our ID also must be manufacture-able. Working closely with clients and focusing on their needs, our integrated Product Teams, which include an in-house Asian manufacturing partner, deliver creative designs and innovative manufacturing solutions that optimize time to market and lower unit costs.
As part of our integrated service, we also have a fully equipped machine shop, including a CNC Machining Center and RTV casting facility. This close proximity enables us to continually check our designs and create amazing models and working prototypes that respond to client-needs in the shortest time possible.
Using our RED process, a product's highest rational and emotional values are threaded progressively throughout Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing in pursuit of award-winning designs, cost-effective solutions, and on-time deliveries.
