HELP Design Co. is a small, diverse team of designers and engineers dedicated to the idea that design should do more than look good. Embedded within Stress Engineering Services, our uniquely physics-driven design process holistically fuses form and function to achieve results superior to those of a traditionally styling-driven design process. Our team believes that "good design" must be feasible--otherwise it's just art.
Most design firms rely on hot styling to mask a design process with little or no technical foundation. In this styling-driven design process, function and form are in constant, detrimental conflict and often require costly rework to produce a manufacturable product. At the Innovation Group, our conceptual design work is informed by decades of engineering expertise to deliver concepts in which form and function are fused to produce elegantly looking and functioning products.
HELP Design Co. is backed by the engineering expertise of Stress Engineering Services, an engineering consultancy with over thirty years of experience in computer-aided analysis; materials, instrumented ergonomic and device testing; design for reliability; and failure analysis.
Though our clients are strictly confidential, Stress Engineering Services has worked with Fortune 500 companies worldwide on many of the best known products in medicine, consumer products and packaging and is ISO 13485 certified for medical device design. Our team is located in Cincinnati, OH.
